Misma Anaru (Te Hika o Pāpāuma, Rangitāne) is a ceramicist working from her home studio on Waiheke Island, Tāmaki Makaurau.

Working with clay sourced in Aotearoa, she predominantly uses the slab building technique

to create highly functional, minimalist pieces that impart a sense of

intentionality and ritual to every day activities and objects.
